About Us
Mike Lubofsky is a 1988 graduate of the Boston University School of Law where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in the Study of Constitutional Law, and was a designated Paul J. Liacos Scholar, in the top 25% of his class (1987). He is also a 1985 graduate cum laude of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he majored in Psychology.
Following law school graduation, Mike practiced commercial litigation
with a 100-attorney national law firm based in Hartford, Connecticut.
Since relocating to California in the mid-1990's, Mike has focused
his practice on divorce and family law, as well as employment and
general business law. He has also worked as an attorney and marketing
manager for a plaintiff's employment class action law firm located
in Oakland, California.
Mike has extensive professional experience dealing
with the business side of law practice. He has previously served in litigation management positions for two national insurance companies in substantive areas including asbestos and toxic tort litigation. He has also been
director of a legal placement office in Boston, and had his own consulting
practice providing Internet marketing solutions to U.S. attorneys
and law firms. Mike's experience, not only in law practice, but in the business side of law firm operations, enables him to leverage
technology and provide far more cost-effective service than other
lawyers in California.
